Covid cases for Raglan, Hamilton and central Waikato are declining slowly and at a low level. They are now running at around 150 a day for late August.
They are tracking in a 125 to 176 band. Our model is predicting that new cases will progressively decline. There is likely to be 3 new cases of Covid in Raglan each day with about 22 active community cases, self isolating.
For our graph we have combined new daily cases numbers in Hamilton City, Raglan and other Waikato District areas (e.g. Tamahere, Whatawhata, Ngaruawahia, Huntly and Gordonton). Starting from a high level of over 1200 daily cases in early March, the numbers plateaued at about 1000 then began to slowly drop down to just over half the peak to 785 on 25th March.
