New cases in Raglan, Hamilton and central Waikato have trended down from 260 a day in early June to around 195 a day in mid-June. New daily cases are tracking in a 128 to 261 band.
There is a slight downward trend. This means that there is likely to be 4 new cases of Covid in Raglan each day with about 28 active community cases, self isolating.
For our graph we have combined new daily cases numbers in Hamilton City, Raglan and other Waikato District areas (e.g. Tamahere, Whatawhata, Ngaruawahia, Huntly and Gordonton). Starting from a high level of over 1200 daily cases in early March, the numbers plateaued at about 1000 then began to slowly drop down to just over half the peak to 785 on 25th March. After tracking at about 200 a day in early May, they then went up to 350 a day, and are now running at around 195 a day.
