Raglan Bus Service The Raglan Community Board currently has a survey asking Whāingaroa residents to provide feedback on an internal bus service for Raglan and what that would look like at this link From what she has seen of the responses so far, Lisa says that the respondents are mainly aged between 26-64 years of age and are looking for a regular timetable that ties in with the beaches and surf points, shopping, groceries and doctor’s visits, as well as a service for urban school students and rural areas like Te Mata.
Lisa says they’re keen to get as much information as possible to provide the council with advice around a bus service that has high levels of demand. The initial two-year trial period will be a test to see if the service is sustainable in the long term.
